Valentine’s Day…a day of love and showing those you love how much you care. (Although in this house we try to live like it’s Valentine’s Day everyday…I think I threw up a little in my own mouth…sorry!). I do enjoy making the day a little less ordinary though. Instead of going out with the “love birds,” I like to cook a special dinner with the three “men” in my life.
Although we do not go “out on the town” on this holiday, I try and primp a bit. You know, like not eating dinner in my usual attire (ahem, jeans & a t-shirt) and putting on some make-up to make me a little fancier. And of course no Valentine’s Day would be complete without a kiss from my one true love.
After our yummy dinner and enjoying some type of dessert, I freshen my breath to get ready for my “close-up” with my love for a Valentine’s Day kiss. Making sure my smile is bright and my breath is fresh is important to me. It’s even more important for my hubby to do the same. Nothing is worse than a kiss that isn’t fresh!
